The 10th annual Invest in France Automotive Awards Reception will honor General Motors Corp.'s Powertrain Div., Magna International Inc. and Spartech Corp. April 12 at the Detroit Institute of Arts.

Every year the agency recognizes North American automotive companies that have invested significantly in new or expanded facilities in France.

Thomas G. Stephens, group vice-president, General Motors Powertrain; Mark Hogan, president, Magna International Inc.; and Bradley B. Buechler, CEO of Spartech Corp.; will accept the awards.

Clara Gaymard, ambassador and special representative of France for International Investment will present each with a crystal car made by Glasswork manufacturer Compagnie Francaise du Cristal Daum.

Ward's AutoWorld for the second year is sponsoring the Invest in France awards ceremony, which is being held in conjunction with the Society of Automotive Engineers World Congress in Detroit.
