Italy vehicle sales totaled 78,595 units for August 2011, up 0.8% vs. August 2010. August 2011 vehicle sales decreased 48.9% vs. July 2011 sales. The European holiday likely contributed to this drop. 2011 sales through August totaled 1,360,916, down 10.8% over the same period in 2010.
