Jaguar Cars names Mike O’Driscoll managing director, replacing Bibiana Boerio, who is retiring after 30-plus years of service.

In addition to his new responsibilities, O’Driscoll will continue in his current role as president of Jaguar and Land Rover’s North American operations.

The move comes on the heels of the revelation that Jaguar parent, Ford Motor Co., is shopping the marque.

O’Driscoll will report to Jaguar and Land Rover CEO Geoff Polites.

In a statement, Polites thanks Boerio for her years of service and says O’Driscoll has a “strong understanding of the brand” and is poised to “lead Jaguar into the next phase.”
