DETROIT – Ford Motor Co. says its Lincoln MKS concept car is going to define sedans for the brand in the future.

Unveiled at the North American International Auto Show here, the MKS boasts 20-in. wheels, a 500-watt DVD-audio system, Bluetooth capability and adaptive light-emitting-diode lighting in the front. (See related story: Ford Keeps Pace in Lighting Technology)

Lincoln's MKS comes with all-wheel drive and smaller frame.

Seats have 14-way power adjustments, and the roof is all glass. The paint job is called juniper frost, with the lower body an offshoot of green with a hint of yellow.

The 4-door MKS is powered by a 315-hp V-8 paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

Inside the MKS is a spare, dramatic dashboard of maple outlined by a ring of alloy. The console is upholstered in gray suede and the doors are covered in white suede. Aniline leather seats are both individually heated and cooled, with extending lower cushions.
