Magna Steyr Builds Last Chrysler Voyager

Exactly 618,979 Voyagers were manufactured in Graz between 1991 and 2007.

GRAZ, Austria – Magna Steyr Fahrzeugtechnik AG & Co. KG has built its final Chrysler Voyager, with the last of the minivans rolling out of the assembler’s plant here Friday, Nov. 30.

Exactly 618,979 Voyagers were manufactured in Graz between 1991 and 2007. The total includes 439,216 manufactured at the former adjacent Eurostar plant and 179,763 units made at Magna Steyr’s older factory here.

Voyager production was transferred from the Eurostar plant to the older factory in mid-2002 to free up space for BMW X3 production.

Magna built three versions of the minivans, the ES, GS and RG.
