Major Auto Financing Firms to Pull Plug on Australia

The global financial crisis claims two of Australia’s largest vehicle financiers.

Queensland-based GMAC Financial Services LLC announces it will not write any new business after Dec. 31, and GE Capital Finance Australasia Pty Ltd. (GE Money) says it will end vehicle financing in Australia and New Zealand.
