Maserati SpA marks a new milestone as the 20,000th car rolls off the line at its revamped Modena, Italy, plant. The facility underwent massive changes when Ferrari SpA took control of the brand in 1997, with increased automation and state-of-the-art technology. The 20,000th car, a Quattroporte, is destined for the U.S., where Maserati sells 30% of its total output.
