Mazda Motor Corp. establishes Mazda Motor Ireland, a new national sales company that will control distribution of the brand in the country.

Located in Dublin and officially commencing operations July 1, the Irish sales arm will import, distribute, market, sell and supply parts for the Mazda2, Mazda3, Mazda5, Mazda6, RX-8, and MX-5, as well as the commercial B-series, models, Mazda says.

“Mazda has been doing business in Ireland since 1974 and, with the establishment of this new national sales company, we will strive to provide our customers with consistently high quality products and afterservice,” James Muir, president and CEO of Mazda Motor Europe, says in a statement.

Mazda says it also will establish national sales companies in Slovakia and Czech Republic by year’s end.
