Management Briefing Seminars

TRAVERSE CITY, MI – Every conference has trouble hanging onto attendees on the last day, and the 5-day Management Briefing Seminars are no exception.

However, organizers seemed to hit the jackpot this year by scoring all the Detroit Three purchasing chiefs, as well as having a strong concurrent powertrain-oriented program.

MBS veterans say they can’t ever recall standing-room only attendance during the confab’s final half-day, especially when it was a beautiful day and the golf course remained a powerful lure.

Advance registrations for the final day must have been running strong because Tony Brown, group vice president-global purchasing for Ford Motor Co., commented on the strong attendance in his written remarks – which were made available to the media several hours before he addressed the crowd.
