VW sees record production in Mexico MEXICO CITY — Volkswagen AG builds 101,000 vehicles at its Mexico plant during the first three months, setting a new record for the number of cars built in a quarter. Production was up 18.72% on same time last year. According to the automaker, production during the first quarter was equal to more than 30% of last year's total production.
