Scion Looking at More Models to Appeal to Impatient Buyers

While it once said its lineup would never have more than three or four vehicles, Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc.’s Scion brand is changing its tune.

In late 2006, Toyota ended sales of the first-generation xA subcompact and xB cross/utility vehicle, implementing a long sell-down in preparation for next-generation ’08 models that didn’t go on sale until mid-2007.

The situation left Scion dealers with just one model, the aging tC sport coupe.
