Second-Worst June for LV Sales in 28 Years

The U.S. light-vehicle market outperformed year-ago by 14.4%, selling 981,258 cars and trucks last month, but it still was the second-worst June since 1982.

June’s daily sales (25 selling days) fell 7.3% from May (26 days), dropping the seasonally adjusted annual rate to just below 11.1 million units, down from 11.6 million for the prior month.
