Lear Corp. will not complete the acquisition of Delphi Automotive Systems' seating business until early in the third quarter, largely due to the two General Motors Corp. strikes in Flint. The deal originally was to be completed in the second quarter. Meanwhile, Lear has started producing seats for Ford Ranger pickups made in Thailand. The General Seating Thailand operation in Rayong is a 50-50 joint venture with NHK Spring.
