Cobasys LLC, an energy storage joint venture between the Chevron Corp. subsidiary Chevron Technology Ventures LLC (CTV) and Energy Conversion Devices Inc. (ECD), will provide General Motors Corp. with nickel-metal-hydride battery systems for the redesigned ’08 Chevrolet Malibu hybrid.
