Swedish Auto Makers Launch Plug-In Hybrid Study

Volvo Car Corp. and Saab Automobile AB are partnering in a program to study and evaluate the potential of plug-in hybrid vehicles.

The two marques are joining with energy-provider Vattenfall, ETC Battery and the Swedish government to conduct the study in Sweden.
