Toyota Motor Corp. reportedly is recalling 160,000 gas-electric Prius hybrid cars due to engine problems. A stalling problem has been experienced on Priuses, wherein the gas motor fails, causing the vehicle to operate solely on its electric motor. A company spokeswoman tells Dow Jones Newswires the Prius' electronic-control unit may be the cause of the problem.
