Toyota Stretching Current Avalon Cycle

The current-generation Toyota Avalon will be sold for at least one year longer than usual, sources tell Ward’s.

The first two generations of the large sedan, launched as a replacement for the Cressida in 1995, each had five model years. But the current Avalon, which debuted in 2005 as an ’05 model, will have at least six, as one company insider confirms a new model will not be seen next year.
