Toyota Motor Thailand Co. is hiring 500 additional workers at its two assembly plants to handle a rapid growth in vehicle sales. The jobs have been created over the last six months and about half have already been filled, a company spokesman says in a published report. Toyota, Thailand's best-selling brand for the last 23 years, has raised its sales forecast to 114,000 units this year, up from an earlier estimate of 95,000 units.
