Volkswagen of America Inc. CEO Stefan Jacoby will add responsibility for the Volkswagen brand in North America to his list of duties, replacing Adrian Hallmark in the job.

Hallmark, executive vice president in charge of the Volkswagen brand for VWA since November 2005, will be pulled back to Volkswagen AG headquarters in Wolfsburg, Germany, where he will oversee sales and marketing initiatives for the VW brand in the Asia/Pacific region, the auto maker says.

VWA also appoints Michael Lohscheller to executive vice president and chief financial officer, reporting to Jacoby. Lohscheller comes to VWA from the parent company, where he most recently was director-group marketing and sales planning.

In addition, Falk Beil will take over as executive vice president-service and quality. He also comes from Volkswagen AG and will report directly to Jacoby.

Other moves include the naming of Mark Barns, an industry veteran who has worked with several auto makers, to vice president-customer service, and M. Toscan Bennett to vice president-product marketing and strategy. Bennet also has held positions at several auto makers. He replaces David Goggins, who will lead global communications for VW’s Bentley Motors operations in Crewe, U.K.
