KIEV – Russia’s OAO AvtoVAZ is beginning shipment of Lada kits to Ukraine’s ZAO ZAZ car plant this month for final assembly. ZAZ, which produces Tavria and Slavuta small cars and assembles several Daewoo, Mercedes and Opel models, will start making front-drive Lada Samaras in August.
