The 2000 sales year for heavy- and medium-duty trucks went from bad to worse in November, when deliveries declined 30.8% on a daily selling rate basis (28,638 vs. 41,408) compared to like-1999. November's sales total is the lowest in almost two years. It also is the third straight month deliveries have declined by more than 20% compared to like-1999.
