Brazil vehicle sales totaled 310,374 units for August 2010, up 7.5% vs. August 2009. August 2010 vehicle sales increased 35.3% compared with July 2010 sales. Low unemployment continues to increase demand for vehicles, aiding in this large jump. 2010 sales through August totaled 2,117,597, up 3.2% over the same period in 2009.
