There was no reprieve for the big truck market in Canada in April as combined Class 4-8 sales slid to 2,652 for the month, down 35.5% from year-ago's 4,113 on a daily rate basis (24 days both periods). Class 8 sales, alone, plunged 37.3% on volume of 1,773 in April, with market leader Freightliner Corp. sales off 42.4% for the month.
