Canada vehicle sales in May declined from the same-month a year ago, halting a string of four consecutive increases. Sales in May, including estimates for some medium- and heavy-duty truck makes (actual data for those companies will be reported later this month) totaled 153,108 units, for a daily selling rate (DSR) of 6,121, 3.1% below year-ago — 25 selling days both periods (see data p.2).
