Sales of heavy- and medium-duty trucks in October jumped 25.3% to 4,995 units in Canada vs. prior-year, with Class 8 sales spiking 33.7%. The only Class 8 brand to post a loss was Freightliner LLC’s Western Star brand, down 7.0% from year-ago to 217 units.
