Chrysler Launches Fuel-Economy Focused Ads

TV commercials featuring Jeep models, such as the Compass and Patriot, began airing May 1, while Chrysler and Dodge ads will start on May 7 and 8, respectively.

Chrysler Group launches a new marketing campaign focusing on the fuel economy.

Chrysler says “Maximize Your Miles,” will feature Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep brand models that achieve about 30 mpg (7.8 L/100 km) highway.

TV commercials featuring Jeep models, such as the Compass and Patriot, began airing May 1, while Chrysler and Dodge ads start on May 7 and 8, respectively.

The TV spots will showcase the Chrysler 300 and Sebring, as well as the Dodge Caliber and Avenger.

Print and radio ads also will be used to call attention to Chrysler’s fuel-economy message, the auto maker says.

“We created this campaign because consumers were looking for more information about our fuel-economy ratings,” George Murphy, senior vice president-global marketing says.

“As people spend more time traveling in theirs cars during the summer, it made perfect sense to remind them that with Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge products, you don't need to sacrifice design, style or features to get a good fuel economy.”
