Encouraged by a bullish Indian auto market, DaimlerChrysler AG’s Indian unit reportedly is setting a growth target of 15% for 2003. DCI hopes to sell 1,580 Mercedes vehicles, against 1,350 sold in 2002. Last year marked a dip from 2001, when 1,480 Mercedes were sold.
