LONDON – Global measures to ensure the enforcement of intellectual property rights – similar to those recently adopted by the European Union – are needed in the “struggle” against counterfeit vehicle parts, says the European automotive supply industry. The comments come following final approval of a new counterfeiting and piracy directive by the EU Council of Ministers.
