VIENNA – OAO Severstal-Avto plans to launch assembly of Fiat Palio hatchbacks and Albea sedans in 2007 at its Zavod Mikrolitrazhnykh Avtomobiley (ZMA) car plant. ZMA, which recently began output of Ssangyong Motor Co. Ltd. vehicles at the ZMA facility in Naberezhnye Chelny in Tatarstan, Russia, will use the Fiat Auto SpA models to fill the void left when it phases out assembly of Oka minicars in mid-2006.
