Ford Motor Co. will launch an ad campaign on June 18 for the redesigned ’08 Taurus that will focus on the sedan’s safety attributes.

The new Taurus, formerly the Ford Five Hundred, has received top safety ratings by the National Highway Traffic Safety Admin. and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

The campaign, which features print, online, radio and television elements, will launch with a television spot titled “We Know,” Ford says, which depicts a father watching his son progress from his first bike to his first car.
