Yukitoshi Funo officially assumes his role as president and chief executive of Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc. today. He replaces Yoshi Inaba, who returns to Toyota Motor Corp. in Japan as a senior managing director and chief officer for the Americas, Oceania, Middle East and Southwest Asia Operations Group. Funo, who has been with Toyota since 1970, most recently served on TMC’s board of directors, supervising American operations and Japan’s government and industrial affairs division.
