General Motors Corp.’s Colombian unit, GM-Colmotores, calls back 5,794 Corsas built between August 2001 and June 2002 because of a possible problem with the installation of the rear wheel ball bearings. The affected vehicles were sold in Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela. Last month GM’s Brazilian unit recalled 500,000 Corsas for a similar problem. (see related story: GM Brazil Recalls Corsas)
