SAO PAULO – Both General Motors do Brasil Ltda. and Hyundai Motor Co. Ltd. operations here were hit with recalls earlier this month. GM is calling back 2,861 Meriva small vans to swap out faulty fuel tanks that could leak following a collision. Hyundai is recalling 240 H 199 commercial vehicles to replace a defective component in the brake system.
