General Motors Corp.’s Janesville, WI, medium-duty truck assembly line permanently shuts down next week, displacing 850 workers, reports say. About 50 workers will relocate when production shifts to GM’s Flint, MI, truck assembly plant. The Janesville facility also builds SUVs and light-duty trucks. Production of these vehicles is not affected.
