JOHANNESBURG – General Motors South Africa says it sold a record 87,121 vehicles in 2006, a gain of 12.1% over 2005’s 76,592 deliveries. The 2006 results represent a near doubling of its volume from 10 years ago, when GMSA sold 46 353 vehicles in 1996.
