Toyota Motor Corp. will offer the '07 RAV4 cross/utility vehicle with a V-6 for the first time, while competitor Honda Motor Co. Ltd. will continue with 4-cyl. power in the new CR-V next fall.

Mendel says he believes U.S. consumers will remain attracted to trucks, but that high fuel prices are affecting purchase decisions.
