Yoshihide Munekuni, chairman of Honda Motor Co. Ltd., is elected chairman by the Japanese Automotive Manufacturers Assn. (JAMA). Munekuni succeeds Hiroshi Okuda, Toyota Motor Corp. chairman, at the top of JAMA. Munekuni, who is JAMA’s first chair from Honda, will serve a 2-year term.
