Hyundai Motor Co. Ltd. reportedly expects an operating profit of $2.19 billion in 2004 and sales of 2.145 million units this year. Hyundai, which hasn’t estimated its 2003 operating profit, is expecting domestic sales to be up 13.4% (710,000 units) in 2004, while exported vehicles should make up the bulk of sales this year, rising 4.2% (1.054 million units).
