Indonesia’s new-vehicle sales continue to race ahead, with May’s result up 24.4% year on year to 50,699 units. The month was down 1.8% from the 51,640 vehicles delivered in April, the Indonesian Automotive Producers Assn. reports. But after five months, sales totaled 237,941 units, up a healthy 33.6% from 157,892 in like-2007. The association says Toyota Motor Corp. has extended its market lead, with 80,495 vehicles delivered year-to-date, outpacing Mitsubishi Motors Corp. (35,865) ...
