International Truck and Engine Corp. says it built the 2 millionth V-8 diesel engine at its Indianapolis Engine Plant in August. Of the 2 million engines produced, 1.8 million were Ford-branded Power Stroke diesels for Ford’s F-Series Super Duty pickup trucks, Econoline vans and Excursion SUVs. The remaining engines were International T 444E diesels used in medium-duty trucks and school buses made by International.
