Isuzu Motors Ltd. is calling back some 72,905 Trooper SUVs because of a possible problem with sticky accelerators. The National Highway Traffic Safety Admin. says ’92-’95 model Troopers are affected by the recall. NHTSA says the accelerator cable can stick for several seconds, preventing the engine from decelerating immediately. To fix the problem, dealers will reportedly replace the throttle cable rubber boot.
