DETROIT – Toyota Motor Corp.’s Lexus division will unveil a new, midsize luxury SUV at the 2002 North American International Auto Show in Detroit this January. The GX 470 will be positioned between the current RX 300 and the LX 470 SUVs and be powered by a 4.7L V-8 engine and the same full-time 4-wheel drive system available in the LX 470. The GX 470 will go on sale in January 2003.
