Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc. says a limited edition Lexus SC 430 will be offered for the ’07 model year.
The SC Pebble Beach Edition retractable hardtop convertible will go on sale next month in the U.S. but is making its public debut at the Lexus Fashion Preview during the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance Aug. 18.
The special edition SC pairs an exclusive exterior color, Starfire Pearl, which Toyota says is a “cream pearlescent paint,” with a Pimento Red leather interior and black birds-eye maple trim.
Other unique design touches include 18-in. G-Spider alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, brushed chrome badging and embroidered Pebble Beach logos on the floor mats.
The SC Pebble Beach Edition’s powerplant is a 288-hp 4.3L V-8 engine mated to a 6-speed sequential-shift transmission.
Toyota says only 400 Lexus Pebble Beach editions will be built.
For ’07, all SC 430s receive new driver and front passenger knee airbags and front-passenger occupant detection sensor, as well as a hidden uniblade front windshield wiper.
