September’s light-vehicle production in Mexico climbed 6.5% from year-ago to 196,139 units due to a 33.1% surge in domestic output. U.S. Big Three production grew 5.5%, compared with year-ago, to 97,484 units, as General Motors de Mexico S.A. de C.V. and Chrysler de Mexico LLC increased output 18.8% and 11.4%, respectively.
