The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety says the redesigned Volkswagen Jetta is the first vehicle to garner top scores in every individual side-impact crash-test measurement. The Jetta, which is larger for '05, surpassed competitors in the three categories: injury measures, head protection and structural design.
