North American vehicle-assembly plants, despite some monthly number juggling, are set to build about the same number of cars and trucks in the fourth quarter as were on the books a month ago: 2,736,400 vs. 2,735,100. After pumping up October-December output plans by 116,200 vehicles last month, production planners this time are adding just 1,300 units. The move follows deferment of an estimated 12,500 units of planned output from October to November (up 12,400), and December (up 1,400). ...
