North America Inc.â€™s Dan Gaudette, senior vice president-North American manufacturing and supply chain management, is retiring, the auto maker says.
Gaudette, who has spent 26 years with, starting in December 1980 as a financial analyst/controller on the launch team for the Smyrna, TN, vehicle assembly plant, will retire in April, Nissan says.
â€śI appreciate Danâ€™s hard work and contributions to Nissanâ€™s manufacturing organization during his many years of service,â€ť Carlos Ghosn, president and CEO, Nissan Motor Co. Ltd., says in a statement.
Bill Krueger, vice president-manufacturing, at the Smyrna plant, will succeed Gaudette.
Krueger joined Nissan in 2005 fromMotor Corp.â€™s Georgetown, KY, plant, where has was general manager. He also has spent time with Corp. and Harley Davidsonâ€™s Utilimaster Corp., Nissan says.
