Nissan Design America Inc.’s Tom Semple is retiring after 24 years of service, says the auto maker. Semple, recruited from General Motors Corp. in 1980, will retire, effective Sept. 30. Replacing Semple as NDA president is Shiro Nakamura, senior vice president-Nissan Motor Co. Ltd. and head of Global Nissan Design.
