French automotive group PSA Peugeot Citroen is eyeing an 8% market share on the non-national passenger car segment in Malaysia. Officials say the group hopes to further develop its regional industrial presence in Malaysia in light of the Assn. of Southeast Asian Nations Free Trade Agreement. The auto maker is looking to achieve its goal by opening more dealer franchises there through its partnership with Singapore’s Cycle & Carriage Co.
