JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – September saw South Africa new vehicles rise 5.8% over year-ago, hitting 57,617. However the results were down slightly from August’s volume, when 59,828 vehicles were delivered, the National Association of Automobile Manufacturers of South Africa says. The month’s tally included 37,791 passenger cars and 16,607 light trucks.
